Description:

  • Manage the pick-up.
  • Organize the storage.
  • Handle the sale of surplus items from across campus.
  • Correspond with many individuals on campus and outside the University by phone, email, and in-person -Assist with other accounting related duties as needed. These may include report generation, reconciliations, data analysis, department interactions, and student interactions.
  • Applicants must carry a valid drivers license and be able to work independently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent GED.
  • Accounting/business background preferred.
  • Organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to perform calculations, analytics, and understanding of basic accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft series (emphasis on Excel), Adobe, and general computer abilities.
  • Dependable, reliable, confidentiality, professional and strong initiative.
  • Work efficiently and effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse group, good customer service.
  • Familiar with SUU campus.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Interested in improving job procedures and efficiency.
